    Husqverna Coils

    Excellent Product & great repair fix. Just what you need if your weed trimmer starts up runs for a few minutes & then dies for no apparent reason. Basically what happens is it starts then heats up & then just dies. This repairs that problem. Thank you.

    Not properly constructed.

    Changing the ignition module should be a simple screw on procedure, but it wasn't. I had to modify the part and where it mounts to make the part fit properly. Once I did that, the trimmer seems to run correctly.

    Not made exactly to factory specifications, required modification to fit.

    Although the coil looked like an exact match, it wasn't. The plastic part of the coil was slightly larger than the original. When the mounting screws were tightened it caused the pickups to actually contact the magnets, I was not able to achieve the recommended clearance. I ended up removing a portion of the casting where the coil attached to the housing, that allowed me to achieve the proper clearance. It worked OK eventually.

    Junk

    The fuel line diameter is too large to fit through the holes in the fuel tank, and when you cut it the ends fuse together. The fit the coil you need too file away some aluminium from the crankcase so it fits. Also spark output is very low, not enough to start engine.

    Works fine

    Works fine it solved my problem with string trimmer dying when going from low speed to high. I had replaced the carburetor and fuel tank and fuel lines before install the ignition coil.
