Return to Base (RTB) Warranty
We are confident in our work and expect your item to be in full working order. However, from time to time things can go wrong.
Therefore, certain items are offered with RTB Warranty (please check the item description), which starts the moment you sign for your parcel.
In the unlikely event your item develops a fault within 30 days of delivery, Recycly.Tech will repair or replace your item accordingly. Alternatively, if you prefer you are entitled to a full refund upon the safe return and inspection of the item purchased.
If your item is offered with Warranty and develops a fault after 30 days from delivery you will be entitled to a repair or replacement only. This does not affect your statuary rights. Warranty repairs might take up to 30 days.
For data bearing devices, upon returning your item, please ensure all files you require to keep are backed up. Recycly.Tech will endeavour to repair your item without data loss, however if the repair requires a replacement part or Operating System re-installation, Recycly.Tech will take no responsibility for file loss/corruption.
Please note: All items must be returned via courier. It is recommended that a "signed for" service is used for peace of mind. We do not accept any responsibility for Return costs after 30 days from purchase and/or loss/damage in transit of any kind. Any items being returned back to you will be done so free of charge via DPD or Royal Mail recorded delivery.
If your item is unwanted or purchased in error, please note that you have 30 days to return it to us for a full refund. We are unable to process a refund for an unwanted item beyond 30 days from delivery.
What the warranty does not cover
The warranty does not cover accidental damage such as liquid spillage and cracked LCD Screen. It also does not cover software problems such as viruses/malware, or file corruption/loss, however we will always endeavour to help with situations of Software corruption. Please keep in mind that opening the casing in order to remove, change or add internal components will also void the warranty.
In most cases, your laptop battery is guaranteed to hold charge for a minimum of 30 minutes (please see item listing). Batteries will be replaced if they do not meet that criteria (or expectations - for smartphones) if reported within 7 days of delivery. Battery faults reported after 7 days from delivery will not be covered by your warranty as these items are classed as consumable and deteriorate over time depending on use.
