    Works well, but is very slow, only 80 bytes/second

    This GPIB controller was simple and easy to use, but is VERY slow. It transfers 80 bytes/second. That's 0.08KB/s or 0.00008MB/s! It takes 100 minutes to transfer 500KB. Also, transfer size is limited to 100KB, so I have to break my 500KB transfers into 5 separate 100KB requests.

    Great specialty item

    This is a high quality item that works right out of the box. I used mine to connect to an older power supply and it worked perfectly with the first try. The GUI can get you started, but the included libraries allow programmatic usage of it. It also costs a fraction of the equivalent item by a big instrumentation brand.

    Good First Line of Consciousness for GPIB Interface

    Easy to use, a bit more instructions/examples would be great. BUT this is my go to device to tell if the IEEE-488 is functioning! Plug in, send a command to identify and presto!

    Great value GPIB/HPIB

    I had worried whether I would be able to interface successfully with old HP spectrum analyzer or not, but it worked just fine. User interface really convenient to find device and send/receive. Hardest part searching through 500 page old HP manuals for relevant commands.
