    Easy Installation

    Item is an exact replacement for the original. The issue I was having was that the dryer would not heat during the "timed dry" setting on high heat, but it would heat up on the "automatic dry" setting. It was a simple installation. After unplugging the dryer you just remove the back panel (five 1/4 inch hex nuts) and the timer has 3 electrical plugs to remove along with a single wire plug. The clips holding it in are a little tricky. You will need a a pair of needle nose plyers to pinch the clips and pull the timer at the same time. I had to use a flat head screwdriver to release the bottom clip. The the new timer just snaps in and plug in the electrical connections and it's finished. Oh, and the timer knob just pulls off from the front. It's a little tight but it will just pull off. I ...

    This fixed our dryer, which was running non-stop after the timer failed. This is the second time I've replaced the timer in 4 years, so I'd say it was of a good value. The hardest part of installation is prying the old timer off the metal/plastic clip. Otherwise very easy for anyone to fix.

    The Dryer Timer Broke. According to You Tube University, The Black and Red Wires need to Have Continuity When Turned on the Time Dry Cycle. They were 100% Correct.

    Works great - fixed my Amana dryer

    The part works great. My dryer timer had poor contact on the A-B-C terminals which caused my dryer to not heat consistently. Replacing that dryer timer with this one worked and fixed the problem.
