A Great Find!!!
This Salton Great Eggs machine is no longer made so I was very happy to find it, especially being new/unused on eBay. I used to have one I got in the 1990's but it and everything I owned was destroyed in my former residence in 2012. Even though I mainly use it to make hard boiled eggs, I have used it to make poached eggs and the omelet feature. I don't know why Salton stopped making this machine, in my opinion it is just as great as a Kitchen Aid stand mixer that has been made since 1919!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Best egg cooker out there - too bad it's no longer made
Best egg cooker out there. It has one flaw, though - the plastic rack that the eggs sit on deteriorates after a few years. I have been through three other models since 1990, including the fancy expensive German model, which only made hard-boiled eggs, no matter which setting you chose. The microwave egg cookers - eggs taste weird. A KitchenBro - horribly made, but made really good eggs; too bad it only lasts for a year or so. They stopped making The Salton in the 1990's, but after my last one broke, I tried it on here: Yay! It doesn't take up as much space as the huge round ones, cooks soft, medium, hard boiled absolutely perfectly, the measuring cup is easy to read and has great cord storage. Reliable egg cooker
