I'm guessing the 'open box' description is a way for seller to get around mfr. policy on web discounting. Well, that works for me. As far as product, not sure color adds any real value particularly with some minor degradation of sharpness due to the lower resolution of the color layer. Has Overdrive integration but very limited search capability of library items. I search and borrow on my PC version of Libby app. Has buttons!

Thought not the fault of the seller, the FedEx that shipped my KLC package was ripped but the KLC itself was wrapped in bubble wrap and was fine when I arrived. Overall my experience withe BlueProton was positive!
