The 1974 boxing match in Kinshasa, Zaire, between champion George Foreman and Muhammad Ali is the stuff of legends. Invited to take part in the three-day festival, B.B. King played before a crowd of over 80,000 Africans and delivered a performance considered by many to be one of the greatest of his phenomenal career. Among the classic King tunes performed are "Sweet Sixteen," "Guess Who," "The Thrill Is Gone," "and "Why I Sing the Blues."
