    Does Most Things Right

    The S5 does most things right, but it has some major weaknesses. The screen resolution and camera can compete with the best phones out there. Samsung seems a lot like Microsoft, they install really cheap, basic apps that aren't very customizable. I ended up buying a few apps online to replace the clunky, archaic junk that Samsung installed. The processor is lightning fast, and loading apps is very fast. Sound, call quality, and reception are average. A sore spot is the battery life. It seems to be more of a Lollipop OS problem than a Samsung issue, but for a top of the line phone, Samsung should have put more effort into it. I installed a Battery Doctor app, and it dramatically increased battery life, but still not up to the level of even my cheaper LG D415 with KitKat OS. I also found the ...

    OK - S5 is just OK due to having it just under a week and battery went dead before 8 hours was up after charging to 100% night before (charger gets really hot as well) Not happy on the battery dying too soon (not a lot of use) in less than normal time and when charging plug gets really hot (not safe) - Other than what I spoke on husband likes the phone

    Great phone

    I still have to get use to all of its new features from what I had before. The only thing that I don't like is it doesn't have enough volume, hard to hear at times. I like the large screen. The other thing is it has so many apps i am afraid that they take to much battery and takes a lot of memory.

    This phone is a good value for the features. It is waterproof to 1.5 meters so I don't worry about it getting wet. I wish its speaker-phone was a little louder. It is easy to update to Marshmallow. The battery lasts a good day, not much more.

    Nice Andraiod phone

    Have 2 S3s and they are nice but one is buggy with short battery life one is good but internet not so good. So far S5 has made a possitive step in the internet area, battery life is Ok in the save power mode. It is getting old and may need a new battery soon. No problem compared to the similar Iphone.
