    Well-packaged. Excellent price. Cables to circumvent PWDIS (3.3V) were included. Drives have approximately 5 years of run-time and were in excellent physical condition. Performed a long format and full copy of data to the drives with no errors. No errors showing in SMART data and health displays as "Normal" in WDC Dashboard. SMART data was not wiped by seller, so you see the complete drive performance history in SMART. Drives run cool and quiet. I'd highly recommend these drives and this seller.

    I tested the hard disk and there were Zero bad sectors, though they have about 42000 hours on them which is 5.1 years of operation in a datacenter. The seller is offering another 5 years of warranty on these hard disk which is such a sweet deal. I bought 1 disk to test and now I am going to order another three for my home RAID NAS drive. This hard disk is high quality, runs very quite and cool, and they come with documentation and a PD power cable (read the documentation about PD SATA cable).A+

    Came with a few scratches on the outside. However, the product is of fantastic quality, quiet and super fast compared to my other HGST 4TB or 3TB (~100Mbps - 150Mbps Read/Write). Love it and I'm getting another HGST 10TB for my family member for their photo and video storage. Note - the data cable I use to connect to the enclosure is Type C to C cable with 40Gbps.

    Top-notch deal for bulk data storage.

    Performance, capacity and reliability vs cost make this the deal of choice for low-cost bulk data storage. These drives were designed, fabricated and tested for enterprise/data center service, where buyers have plenty of economic muscle and are most unamused by failures regardless of cause. Yes, they do have some tens of thousands of hours of use on them, but with an MTBF of 2.5 million hours, actual usage time is not highly significant. These are mechanical drives—they do make some noise, especially when/if they're being worked hard in a random-access regime. They do produce some heat; a decently ventilated housing is a must. And they are big-ish and heavy-ish, unlike their solid-state equivalents. But for those of us who are comfortable with these constraints, these drives provide ...

    Refurb working well.

    IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING WELL. They gave me a 5 year warranty. Though the data is worth more than the HARD DRIVE. Regardless; I love the product, I just worry that the refurb is going to short on me... but it seems to be working well.
