Perfect Replacement
Fits and works great, easy to install. Just remember there is a screw at the top of the heater housing (access through a hole in the dryer back panel), remove that and the entire assembly comes out for easy changeout of the element. Don't struggle trying to remove the old and install the new through the bottom of the housing, it can be done this way but with more difficulty.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

HOT dryer element.
Good product, SEEMS not as good as original but let's face it, nothing is as good as the parts on a 30 year old dryer. I mean they made them great back then. So it's a replacement and works but is it as good? We'll see in 30 years. Since writing this review I noticed when I opened the dryer door the blower shut off as should but the coils made electricity noise. Fortunately I was ho,e and near the dryer or a fire could have started. I don’t know if it’s the coils or the dryer needs a new switch or heat sensors but if I wasn’t there the coils were hot glowing orange and the door was closed. Upon opening the door they were still lit!!! I turned the timer now and they went off. I’m not sure if the probe is the coils or the non timer or some other malfunction.
