Bought this for my cheap spin bike in the basement. Just wanted an inexpensive computer to keep me from getting bored on the spin bike. It was simple to install and program, works great, has a lot of features, such as air temperature, and cool back light feature. The instructions are super small, so you will need a magnifying glass to read them, but if you've programmed a bike computer before, it's 2nd nature what to do. If you are looking for an inexpensive bike computer, this is a good option. I will admit the numbers are a little small, so for a mtn bike it might not be the best option.

Horrible instructions
The device seems to be nice and sturdy. The instruction is EXTREMELY awful and horrible. Tiny fonts are used with terrible English. The instruction does not have much info about how to reset it or actually how to set it up properly. I had to search the internet and find other similar devices to learn how to set this up. I struggled with it for a few days before i was able to make it work. I almost contacted the seller, but he/she lucked out because i found info to make it work. 3 stars because of the difficulty in setting it up. Quality i cannot tell since i just got it.

Good value for the price
This is a nice odometer, once you get through reading the tiny instructions and give the set-up a bit more time you thought you will need. Once you get through that, the odometer is easy to read, I like the backlighting and since it is wired, you only need one battery, which is included. The picture in the instructions shows the sensor close to the hub of the wheel, but you will probably need to place it higher, otherwise it will not clear the magnet. Its tracking seems accurate.

Cycling Computer Great Value
This little unit is surprisingly high quality and good value for cyclists. Screen is well sized and very legible, even while riding. Installation is extremely easy. Figure out where the display mount and the sensor pad go, and tie-wrap them in place with the extra-long tie wraps provided. Both of these essential mounts have an adhesive pad to give you that third hand advantage during the installation. Once these two mount pads are in place, with the cable between them tied down, you can put the magnet on the spoke. Pick a spoke on the front left fork that will let the magnet get very close to the sensor. The sensor pad had some guidelines indicating the "hot" area. Just put the magnet head facing the sensor and then spin the wheel to see the magnet cycle through the sensor range. Once installed, the display unit slips into the mount and you are riding. It logs distance, time, calculates speed, displays elapsed time, distance, speed, avg speed, etc. Very powerful computer chipset here, purpose designed for cycling. It's Easy, Fun, An Cheap ! (as so few things are !) Great product for this price. Thank You !

Nice quality, lousy instructions
I bought two. Instructions are in a size font for Smurfs! And lack good details in installation. Both computers would not show speed or odometer function as if it was not getting sensor data. I took battery cover off and reinstalled battery to sort of "reboot" the computer and both speed and odometer came alive. Display is clear with back light, but probably will only help in very low light conditions. Construction seems tough and well made.
