This original Elna designed foot control is one sweet unit. It is a solid state design that provides a smooth even current to the machine that results in a quiet motor. It provides even better control than the knee bar. It has a switch that allows you to use the full speed of the motor or to use a slow range for intricate sewing.

Used sewing machine pedal did the trick
This one of a kind USED pedal has proven of great value to us to replace one that started running the sewing machine even when not pressed. Even though it was the identical OEM model number, it had the wrong cable end, so I had to disassemble them and switch them.Who knows why. At all events, it is working perfectly now and we are sewing again.
