A lot of good in a small package
The Zeiss Terra 8x25 is a well designed, lightweight imaging platform that's ideal for hiking or travel. The optics are among the best I've ever used and the focus/diopter adjustments are quick and simple. These glasses fit comfortably in the hand; the rubbery surfaces on each barrel provide adequate grip. Construction is good; the fit and finish are in the category of a more expensive binocular. As a wearer of eyeglasses, I was impressed with how easy and quick it is to acquire a target and focus. The only drawback is the lack of a rain guard. Zeiss provides a nice hard shell, zippered case that can be threaded onto a belt. With the strap affixed, the Terra is a snug fit but very adequate for protecting the binocular.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
