So I got these today and played a couple of games and some smash bros ultimate on it I must say they are very comfortable in your hands and it made playing smash bros on the go easier it resembles my switch pro controller so it was easy for me to get used to it unlike the joycons where if you play smash you feel like you’ll break them with Smash bros theses feel durable and they are extremely lightweight so holding your switch in handlheld mode is easier the only drawback I would say its that it has no rumble not a huge dealbreaker in my opinion.

Feels great. Doesn't have all the same specs as the big N's Joycons but makes up for it in how it feels to the touch and no drifting. Really great third party officially licensed peripheral and Hori has been dominant on that ever since the SGB Commander controller for the Super Famicom. 100% approved. And this is legit dude.

Love these controllers for long handheld use. Excellent quality. Light weight. Buttons feel good, sticks feel better than originals. No motion controls or vibration, but it goes without saying, those elements are simply not as important as comfortably holding the system for long periods of time and controller accuracy.

I brought this primarily to improve comfort during handheld play. This is a blessing for my large hands as the joy con can cause hand strain. It feels like I am playing with a pro controller, and the sticks are better than the joy cons.. I do miss motion controls, but I really only used them in docked mode. I haven't used the turbo buttons yet, but the face buttons are bigger and feel better than joy cons. Also the color scheme is something that I find cool. Now my brothers only use these when they play portable mode and leave them on when docked.

The Hori Split Pad Pro needs to have its firmware update out of the box or you'll have your Switch battery draining in sleep mode. The large size makes hand discomfort go away and a thing of the past. Console size thumbsticks make precise aiming much easier, and the dpad makes platforming enjoyable. However, I find the size being more annoying than I thought it would be. You can find a few cases not made for the Switch that will fit this monster, or you can detach these every single time to keep using your current case. I love the aiming and dpad feel along with no more hand cramps. I do not like traveling with these. I hope more options for cases arise soon.

Dudes were raving about it on Reddit so I tried it out. Super awesome controller. The analog sticks are super high quality. Makes handheld-mode feel so much better than with Joy-cons. Only drawbacks are - it only works with handheld, there's no accelerometers, and no rumble, but I knew that getting in so I still give it a full rating. Definitely worth the price!

This is a wonderful joy con. Feels super comfortable in my hands. Still not sure how to use my turbo buttons but it gets the job done

Bought them for the turbo functionality. Been playing pokemon let's go and use them to in game trade for a chance of a shiny alolan. Well worth it.

This controller is perfect for gamers with larger hands. It really makes playing the switch in handheld mode much more comfortable. Although you sacrifice features like rumble and gyroscope (the only real loss in my opinion), the addition of turbo and programmable rear paddles make up for it.

This feels like a pro controller. Extremely comfortable in your hands and excellent response time on all button presses. I would recommend this controller to any portable gamer
