    We need movies like this today

    They don't make movies like this anymore. Charming and believable special effects, even in the 1930's, well-developed main characters superbly acted, an intelligent screenplay and young, attractive, vivacious acting make this an enjoyable classic film to watch. Throw in Wolfgang Korngold's exciting musical score and a blood-chilling sword fight and you've got a real winner.

    Another great action movie keeps my interest

    I have another copy of this movie which may be defective. Have always enjoyed the movie and want to be sure I ca again. Have not seen the new the new one yet but am sure it will be fine. The movie does have a lot of action and with errol flynn you can't go wrong. Great story!

    Great Errol Flynn Classic

    For Errol Flynn fans. The story and dialogue are a bit 1940's but considering the age of the movie, the image quality is quite good and is modified to fill a 16x9 format screen. You lose a little at the top and/or bottom of the original 4x3 image but nothing that detracts from it's viewability.
