Difficult to beat price/features
This fit my use case well. Most importantly, the SFP+ ports work fine as switching ports after you delete the default stack group. If this is why you’re looking at this switch, there is a wonderful tutorial on YouTube with initial setup instructions how to get rid of the 2 stacking ports. You can SSH in via putty or use terminal in Linux (you might need to add “-c aes256-cbc” between and the IP if you get a “no matching ciphers found” error) The switch is surprisingly quiet. Though I’m not loading it up by any means. Idle power with nothing connected hovers around 50W. I am unable to measure noise level. Setting up VLANS in the GUI takes a bit of work as it’s different than any other switch I’ve ever used. All functions I am aware of can be setup without a controller. Either through the GUI and/or CLI. The front panel display is fancy and pretty nice for displaying some basic info or executing basic functions. Only 1 star off for ease of setup. It only took 4-5 searches for an unfamiliar product but would have been better if VLANS were easier to setup and It would also be nice if stacking was off by default. These issues would likely not be issues in enterprise but in a home lab, it might hinder things a bit.

Aruba S2500 is a great switch
The Aruba S2500 series switch is a great deal. 4- 10G SFP+ ports make this a bargain.

Great deal on Layer 3 POE switch
You simply can't get better deal on Layer 3 POE switch I am very happy with the value and performance. It's not Cisco but I don't care as I installed I'm my house.
