    Part supplied as per design, however original design poor.

    I have no problem with the quality of this part as supplied, the problem is with the original design. This part requires regular replacement - in my case virtually every year - as the nylon degrades and crumbles. This component should have been constructed from brass and stainless from the start. I find it amazing that Baxi have managed to supply so many of these boilers and still not rectified this problem.

    Not up to original quality.

    This part worked well for just over a year. But it failed in approximately 18 months. It is not an original part. I've now replaced it with an original Baxi part instead which was only 2 or 3 pounds more in price, I expect this to last several years (the one that came with the boiler from new lasted 9 years). These parts can't provide value for money if they only just outlive the 12 month warranty.
