Bulova lunar pilot
Overall I'm happy with this watch. It looks great, functions well and is an interesting piece of hydrological history. Now this was released a couple of years ago and at the time retailed for around 600, although I picked mine up for considerably less thanks to jomashop I would have liked Bulova's quality control department to be a little more detailed in their inspection before sending this watch out the door. The second hand doesn't exactly line up at the 12 o'clock position. It's 1/5 of a second off and this bothers me to some degree. Furthermore, the "leather" band that is installed on the watch is, for lack of a better word, junk. It feels "plasticky" cheap and really uncomfortable. I know the band is not a qc issue but felt like it was worth noting. Other than that I think it's a great watch for 300 bucks, sapphire crystal, unique pushers and definitely a head turner.

Awesome watch!
What can I say? Other than I love it! lol It wears extremely well. Unlike my citizen that has so many buttons like this one, this one was easy to set. I must admit I don't like having to use a battery, but that aside I love everything else about this otherwise! It is truly a beautiful piece. It is a must for any watch collectors that don't mind the quartz movement.

Classic design with an interesting history. A great talking piece. Don't be put off by the size, wears well even on a smaller wrist. Great accuracy with the 262 kHz movement. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Historic and stylish
I always wanted the moon watch and now I do. It is a chunky historic watch with well designed pushers. Nothing but praise for the watch itself. I was not too impressed with the leather strap. I couldn’t work out the supplied nato strap so I bought another which is much more comfortable and looks better.

Quartz for the collector ?
Having purchased this watch recently, I just wanted to share to all how delighted I am with my purchase. If like me you collect watches but prefer automatic time pieces, this watch can almost tick three boxes. The first is the fluid movement of the chronograph and seconds hands due to the 262 kHz high frequency quartz movent which Almost mimics the smooth sweep of those in an automatic watch. The second box I feel this Bulova ticks is the highly accurate time keeping of that quartz movement which I believe is around +10 to -10 seconds a year. I enjoy wearing this watch but also set my automatic watches to the Bulova's displayed time, it's that good ! The final box ticked for me is the fact that this watch is tribute to that warn by astronaut David Scott during an apollo 15 mission. It comes complete with a velcro 'space suit' friendly strap with the mission date embossed onto a stitched on leatherette patch together with a second reasonable quality black leather strap. To top it all off the quality of the watch is superb and the flat raised sapphire crystal looks amazing.A great watch for anyone's collection, and I highly recommend it at this price point.
