    This rear view mirror mount adapter is exactly what I needed. The original mirror in my 2003 Subaru Forester was discolored and unusable. I wanted to replace it. An exact mirror would be around $100. Installing a cheaper wedge mounted mirror is impossible without this adapter. The kit does exactly what it is designed to do. The instructions are easy to understand. Removal of the old mirror and installation of this adapter and the new mirror took me about 30 minutes and saved over $50!
