I Would Buy Burris Fullfield E1 Again & Again!
Burris Fullfield E1 is an excellent riflescope. I put it on a .350 Legend AR. I mounted it with a Burris AR-P.E.P.R. QD Mount. It was the easiest sight-in with a rifle I ever did. First shots, I was on paper. Some clicks and I was bullseye at 50 yards, then moved out to 100. Few more clicks, not many. Scope was purchased for the purpose of shooting out to 100 yards, which this fine Burris scope is overkill for 100 yards. On an overcast day, glass as clear as a sunny day with another brand scope. I can see! Love the reticle on the Burris Fullfield E1 scope. Nice having side parallax adjustment. Clicks of the turrets are smooth as silk. Very nice! Bushnell works fine for my .22s, no complaints, but I wanted something good for a rifle I might actually hunt with, and this scope is very high ... Burris Fullfield E1 is an excellent riflescope. The only thing I don't like is the new "ballistic plex" reticle.
I like the clarity of this scope. I've been using Burris rifle scopes for a long time now and really like their products. However, they should rename the reticle. As it is not the tried and true "ballistic plex" reticle that we all know and trust. Being a die hard FFII ballistic plex user, I was greatly dissapointed by how small this reticle is, the crosshairs do not subtend to the edge of the glass and the dots are annoying/distracting: They look like bullet holes in the paper, when I'm shooting targets. Burris, you let me down.. I will not buy this one again..I like the clarity of this scope. I've been using Burris rifle scopes for a long time now and really like their products. However, they should rename the reticle. As it is not the tried and true "ballistic plex" reticle that we all know and trust. This scope has a MOA (minute of angle) etched glass reticle, which has been discontinued by Burris. I prefer a MOA reticle, so that I can see the adjustments necessary to get a zero, as well as the ability to have appropriate hold-overs for various ranges. This scope has a one inch tube, and 42mm objective, which means it will sit lower over the bore. This is a second focal plane scope, which means that the reticle is accurate at ONLY ONE magnification. In this scope, that magnification is 14x: the cross hair (center) is accurate at all magnification levels. My particular scope passed the ‘box test’ using 5 MOA adjustments for four boxes (upper right, lower right, lower left, upper left). If did not do so well when using 1/4 (single click) adjustments (four clicks up, four clicks ... This scope has a MOA (minute of angle) etched glass reticle, which has been discontinued by Burris. However, this is NOT a target, competitive scope, and did well with its tracking and repeatability. So far, it has held its zero, and holding zero is the most important thing for me. I can always ‘hold-off’ for the current conditions. The scope looses one start for the method of setting the windage and elevation marks to zero: you move the marked ring with a PEN or other object, as the ring slides around the adjustment knob. With that said, the windage and elevation knobs are covered by caps, and thus, the zero mark does not move until moved. Overall, the is a good value in a scope.

Great scope at a great price.
Can't get better than this on a mid-level scope. Very clear, tracks true both elevation and windage. The MOA reticle looks busy, but it just works after you figure it out. A new shooter adapted to it in 5 minutes. Burris fixed the eyepiece issue on this model to accept flip up scope covers. Hurray! Focus and parallax adjustments were spot on. I have several Burris scopes and every one is performing as advertised. I don't baby my scopes, and every one has held up without issue.
