    Kershaw Does It Again

    I've been a fan of Kershaw knives for a long time. Their multiple designs and blade styles, along with the variety in opening mechanisms makes it easy for someone to find an affordable pocket knife that suits their needs. When I saw that Kershaw had a line with the Emerson Wave, I had to have one. It quickly became one of my favorite knives to carry. It feels good in the hand and opens just like a knife should with the Wave addition. This is the second in the Emerson line I've purchased and I like it just as much as the first. The only negative that I've found, as with other Kershaw knives, is that the edges don't stand up to much abuse. I've chipped many a blade by using it to remove staples, open paint cans, etc. For the money, though, these knives are hard to beat.

    Impressive Kershaw Emerson Collaboration!

    I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of my new CQC-11K when it arrived. The knife is fairly large for carrying, but light enough to do it if that's what you prefer. The blade is constructed of good quality steel and locks up tighter than a Fort Knox safe with the Hinderer-inspired frame lock. I personally wouldn't hesitate tackling light to medium skinning tasks with it; it's sharp enough right out-of-the-box and slip-free with G10 grips to be 100% effective. With Emerson's wave on the spine, it deploys faster than you can think about doing it. I think it's quite the bargain for under $40 bucks!

    Great EDC, but holy lockstick.

    I really do like this knife, it came sharp and the blade was centered. The pocket clip is fine, and it really does carry like a lighter knife in your pocket for a piece of this size. My ONLY complaint is the lock stick. I have tried a quick lube with Ballistal but it is still sticking terribly. I will update this review in month or two.
