Exact replacement
Careless yanking of my OEM charger cable resulted in my Dell laptop no longer recognizing the power supply. While I could still operate with the power plugged in, for whatever reason, the effect was that the battery would no longer charge. Hoping the problem was in the cable and not in the laptop's jack, I purchased this power supply after verifying the model number matched my original. Delivery was quick and the unit is an exact replacement. I'm very pleased to be up & running & charging just like new.

Inspiron charger review
I do recommend this charger. However, I wish the manufacturer or some other electronics company would find a way to not allow the end that goes into the computer to be so it can't be compromised so easily. My son is rough on these things and should be a tester - I have replaced FOUR times!! You'd think the laptop would be the first thing to go, but nooo! Anyway, this is great, but I see room for improvement on this and EVERY laptop charger I have encountered, so nothing against this particular one.

It's a Dell. Need I say more!! Eventually this AC Adapter will malfunction but with a Dell you know that it will last longer and operate within the proper range of voltage and current for your laptop. And---- It's hard to beat the price! I have the exact model # I needed. Thanks Ebay!!!
