  • Nicely made and works like it should.

Does what it's supposed to do... isolate your feedline.. I was tracking down in shack RFI problems and used this device to isolate my 40 meter vertical loop antenna freed with a 4 K 4 to 1 balun. I know that is good for unbalanced to balanced, just wanted to be sure the RF wasn't coming back that way. This is the perfect product for an off-center feed dipole following the 4 to 1 balun. Heck it's great for a coax fed dipole as well.

  • It does what it is supposed to do!

I order the MFJ-915 since I reside in an area with heavy electrical noise. I use the product for HF SDR monitoring, inline with a mini-whip antenna. Once I attached this product close to the radio, i had signals in all bands, daytime and evening hours that I haven't seen/or heard before over the noise level. Good investment. Not a cure all, but it does help.

  • Does the job of keeping RF off the feed line coax.

It does the job. No more RFI in the shack. Instructions say to put it in the shack. This is the wrong place to put it. Put it right at the feed point to the antenna so that there is no RF on the feed line coax. This way the job is done and a bonus is that the antenna pattern is not distored by the coax feed line radiating. Read the theory of why you use choke baluns.

  • Great RF choke

Cut my noise floor by 2-3 S units when used near my HF transmitter.

  • Cleared my problem.

I had rf power returning on my Icom 751. When tuning for swr, I could only get up to 45% power out before the power meter would actually begin to drop. After installing the 1:1 balun this problem went away. I installed it immediately after the transmitter.

  • Mfj line isolator

Made fairly well out of pvc pipe and a bunch of ferrite. . Cleaned up my feedline as advertised. . Reduction in RX static was noticeable, but is negligible. . If you have rfi issues, this is worth a try.

  • Eliminates stray RF

Took care of more RF issue immediately. I hooked between the antenna lead and the tuner with no loss of signal strength. Best of all stray RF is no longer dimming house lights.

  • Works for me...

I was getting RF back into the shack and the house, tripping a GFI breaker (using a G5RV and a tuner). This balun pretty much solved my stray RF problem.

  • Line Isolator for HF Radio

I installed it about 20 feet from the balum connection feeding my Windom antenna and it seems to be working fine.

  • Great RF suppressor

Nice quality and it stopped the feedback/squealing in the speakers on Computer.
