my first robot servant
This thing is pretty amazing. The way it finds its way around my entire house is pretty remarkable. I can leave my three bedroom doors open and start it in the hallway and it pretty consistently cleans every little nook and cranny. A little creepy with the sensors and cameras, I'm pretty sure the Korean overlords at Samsung are watching me in my house. But damn, it's almost worth it for this level of robot service. It's really expensive if you pay full price. I got mine for 40% off and I still thought it was too much, at least until I saw it in action. Can't wait for more robotic products like this to come around and make my life easier. Until the robots take over. Then we are screwed.

Excellent with one simple fix by user; feature packed, high quality
Several unique values: large area coverage with big brush and battery; larger wheels work on slick carpets no other brand can handle (still deep pile carpets not suitable any small robots). Also very quiet, pleasant. The cyclone washable filter vacuum eliminates buying replacement filters. The newer 9350 model added counter weights in the front for a problem of getting stuck against furniture legs at the random times the side behind the bumper is contacted. The side lifts under drive torque tripping the sensor for picking up off the floor. For this older model prevent by just holding the wheels in a little with a bit of cardboard and tape. Instructions at robotreviews. It can take several runs before encountering the traps, and easily fixed should they happen. The Powerbot is higher than some other brands and will not go under as many sofas, but furniture is so varied there is always something nothing goes under, and smaller would not have the power and coverage. There are several Powerbot models with a range of features and prices. Consult the Samsung website for differences. It will not replace a full size vacuum but can keep dirt building up in carpets when used frequently. Corners and edges remain difficult for most vacuum robots. They all have their limitations and must be tested in any particular premises. Excellent for the state of the art, and from a major electronics firm.

Fairly powerful, fairly dumb.
This Robot Vacuum player seems generally to do a good job of cleaning with good suction, and is generally reliable, but the "brains" are just not that smart. One iof three or four times I use it, I have to do something to correct its actions...I just think it is "dumb". I am able to always reset it or something to get it going, but it often seems to go in the opposite direction I think it should be going..I really thought that this 7th generation device would be smarter than it is.
Superior vacuum
Much better than iRobot. More power and better pathing—iRobot was random. Plus iRobot was flimsy, ended up breaking a small plastic near the tray. Repair costs over $110. Not so easy to find a repair shop either. Samsung does not bump into objects like iRobot does. Hands down, Samsung is a winner
