The nut is 43 mm as described, but it comes with string spacing that I would use for a 1 5/8" nut. I wish the sting spacing would have been provided in the description, because I would have known that this wasn't going to work for me. If you like extra narrow string spacing at the nut, then you will like this item. It is well made.
