That is, if they can't find their own friend to play against.<br><br>For the beginner, Championship Chess offers tips, when, if wanted, suggest the best move for the player's strategy. To help to learn to play chess, the game offers on-line help with animated demonstrations. Once the player has moved past the beginner's level, a complete statistical breakdown of all of the game helps them to improve their overall game. Players can strive to lower the number of moves needed to win, and try to keep the computer from putting them into check at all in the game, among others.<br><br>Great scenery in Championship Chess includes ten chess theme boards and pieces. The themes include Metal, Football, Under the Sea, Western, Ninja Warriors, and Alien Nation among others. <br><br>Once a player has defeated all of the game's skill levels, and alienated all of its friends by beating them, they can search for a tougher challenge online with the modem play feature.
