Speck Builds a Great Case Again!
I have had numerous Speck cases in the past for several iPhones, iPads, and Macbooks. This Speck case lives up to the same standard I'd expect out of a Speck case. It isn't bulky yet provides great protection although it isn't perfect. The rubber by the charging port is flimsy and breaks over time. This is true with the majority of Speck phone cases, but it doesn't change the level of protection that you get. I have really been impressed with the Speck cases that I have. They all seem very durable. The only complaint I have about this black one is that for some reason the silicone edges around the screen are a little more flexible than the other ones I have. When I put the case on my phone the edges fold in and I have to pull them out. I haven't had this issue with the other Speck cases that I have.(presidio grip, clear shell, candy shell) All in all, I like my speck cases and they have protected my phone. I like that the edges of the case come up past the curved screen edges on my galaxy S8. I'm all about protecting my phone. Protection over aesthetic. Easy Grip, great handling.
Purchased the original Presidio and found it to be to slippery for my needs. Sent it back and reordered the "Presidio Grip back" a much better feel and less likely to drop it. great product!
