At a glance trap works.
With this trap, I can see right way if there is a critter in there. I have used this type of trap before, this is one of the better traps we have used. Would recommend it any one asking about it.

A little spendie, but worth it.
A trap you will have for years, that will catch 3-4 mice a night. I use a milk cap filled with peanut butter in the trigger compartment, Mice can't get to it, but they can smell it and look for a way in. When peanut butter gets old, you can just stab it with a knife and through cap and all away, then start with a new cap.

Awesome trap, much better then the Tomcat discontinued product
Baited with dog food and a peanut butter cracker, had a catch overnight in my garage. Protects the vette interior. Teamed with a tin cat style, both caught 1 mouse each same bait. The tin cat is as effective but this allows for a much easier release without mice jumping all over terrified, This unit has a sliding vertical release door making release a breeze!

Can kill the moise
This is a great trap and works ok most of the time but I had instances where the mouse would get caught in the crack as the piece slid him into the trap. And finding a little crushed mouse is no fun. I had my trap at least 15 years and caught dozens of mice and it killed 2 of them. Never used bait. Great trap but don’t overwind it.
