A worthwhile read for anyone interested in 20th century furniture, or the Second World War.
I great little book. Interesting and well illustrated coverage of a somewhat niche subject. In a perfect world a larger page size would have allowed larger picture size, but the good news is that this book has been published at all and at a very reasonable price.

Utility furniture: the ultimate egalitarian product.
Lovely little book about a remarkable part of British history, doubling as a reference for that particular furniture. I loved the furniture for its looks. Now I love it even more because of its history. I would love for a new edition adding the catalogue from 1947, so as to have a more comprehensive range. But on the whole, warmly recommended book. And guess what? Turns out I had several pieces already that I didn't know were utility ...

Interesting read
For those who grew up in the 50s and whose homes were furnished with Utility Furniture it made an interesting read
