    Review of Swissmar Raclette Grill

    We have already enjoyed this Raclette Grill for years, and got this used one to keep at another place so we needn't transport. You can sizzle whatever you want on the top, with or without using the cheese melting trays below the grill. Just below the top grill is an electrical heating element, snaking around. The heat is adjustable. The top grill lifts off for easier cleaning, and has a pretty effective non-stick coating. One surface has ridges, the flip side is flat with two circular areas (for crepes??). In use, we place the grill on a large metal tray on the table, not for heat protection, but rather to avoid any splattering on the table top/cloth. Clean up is simple, We have used this grill for from 2 - 10 people at a time. Everyone sizzles what they like, as they like it.
