    Great blower, FAR better than the new redesigned unit

    this is a great blower, as blowers go its really quiet, yet extremely powerful. The variable speed makes sense, most of the time you really don't need full speed, so its nice to be able to control the speed like that. This unit is far better than the redesigned unit, this one really does move debris, so if you've used the newer design RYOBI blower, don't judge this one by that ones performance.

    This is not a machine that I could recommend.

    This is the most annoying leaf blower that I have every owned and used. The high pitched scream of the blower motor is horrid even with ear plugs. If you hate your neighbors and you are already deaf, this is the blower for you. To be fair, the blower has great power, especially with the turbo boost engaged, but the noise pollution that the machine generates, make it almost unusable.

    Powerful and easy to work with

    Powerful in a somewhat narrow range. Probably does not work as well as the professional ones that push 250+ MPH, but very good for leaves, twigs, nuts, and other debris around the house. Works well in dry conditions, but not so well when the leaves and debris are wet. Waiting for good weather to see how long it will go on one charge. Same 40v battery works with other Ryobi 40v tools.

    Ryobi Blower Fizzles

    I had spent a lot of time researching various battery operated leaf blowers and settled on the Ryobi. Received the kit in two days from the vendor....great service. The first two times I used the product I was excited and impressed with its power and volume. The third time after about five minutes use, white, acrid smoke discharged from the trigger area near the handle. Not sure what happened but I have not used the blower since. I did not expect this blower to go belly up after only three uses.

    Good product

    Only used a couple of times but it seems to have plenty of power especially with the turbo button. Super easy to use just twist on the tube attachment and slide the battery on and go. With the turbo button it will even blow wet leaves stuck to the ground.
