A very good deal!
I wanted to play Wolfenstein: The New Order and it’s DLC, The Old Blood, before I bought Wolfenstein II for 60 bucks (I wanted to make sure I liked the series). I bought this combo pack for $20 and I coudn’t be happier! Both games looked and played beautifully on the Xbox one, the story was compelling and well written, and the main characters seemed to be unique and relatable. I’m glad I had the opportunity to play these games before picking up Wolfenstein II, since now I’ll know the backstory for the game! Good game so far!
Only about 8 hours into the game but am enjoying it so far. Gameplay is good with only a couple minor noticed glitches. Story is intriguing and enjoyable. Love the player difficulty options since I am 69 years old and my reflexes aren’t what they used to be. Nice choice of weapons. Game has enough variety and pacing to keep interesting. Sad though how game companies still think it's okay to have some boss in there that takes 587 shots, at just the right moment, to kill. Fantastic games.
Two great games in a low-cost package. What could be better? The New Order is an amazing game. There is an incredible variety of locations (Nazis on the moon!), interesting enemies, variation of pace, and a compelling story. The game mechanics are solid, too. The Old Blood is a prequel to the New Order, and doesn't have the same depth, but it was offered as a low-priced extension of TNO, so that's understandable. It also has a great, cinematic quality.
