    Good quality and easy to use, even on another make of tool.

    It is what it says, the gearbox on my Draper brushcutter now runs cooler so it obviously does the job. I was dubious about being able to squeeze direct from the tube into the gearbox since thr Draper tool does not have the same connecting thread as the Stihl. I cut down a tapered plastic nozzle from a sealant tube and used this as an adapter. Amazingly, the grease went into the gearbox reasonably easily with no leakage past my improvised adapter.

    Gear lube for still gear box

    A good product easy to use just unscrew grease point screw the threaded end into the mechine and squeeze in as required. A larger tube and key to squeeze the grease in would be a good idea or a grease nipple to fit all grease guns on a flexibility rod would be a great help. All in all easy to use a must for all still equipment

    Stihl heavy duty grease for brushcutters

    Excellent quality as you would expect from Stihl, but expensive for the ammount you get in a tube. A neat feature is the thread on the tube matches the thread on the greasing port of the machine, which means you just have to screw it in and squeeze a little grease. All neat without mess.

    Great Grease

    Bought a 2nd hand Stihl strimmer, and sorted out the problems and then ran it hard for half a tank. Only problem I found was the head rather hot. Looked in the hole and noticed there was certainly a lack of lube. Bought the Stihl stuff, cheap enough and you know it’ll be sufficient. Nice and thick out of the tube and good sticktivity. Screwed the tube straight in to the head and squeezed, until no more would go in, about a 1/4 of the tube was gone. Refitted plug, wiped away excess, and done. Not used the strimmer since, but I’m sure that grease will help.
