Based on the exclusive 42 movement it runs a steady 18000 BPH, with 23 jewels, 40-hour power reserve , with both hand and automatic winding. This is a rare Roman dial model from 1971. Currently it’s running 13-23 seconds a day with the crown down. The unique cut 9-facet crystal shows a few light lines on the center top edge but hardly seen. The dial is white with applied black stainless Roman indices, Orient logos, day/date window (English but Kanji appears as a reference), and silver dagger hands with black inlays. The polished stainless comfort case is 39 x 40 x a comfortable 11 mm thin and has fine lines here and there as does the screw back case cover. A signed O (Orient crown) and quick-set push date crown completes its classic look. The signed 19 cm Milanese mesh bracelet has been cleaned and shows light lines on the hasp. A very nice example of this original Orient Chronoace from Japan.”
