This volume takes the place of two, in the original plan of the work. So that no very definite order could be observed throughout. The few sermons, more strictly local in their bearing, are reserved for future publication; and some sermons, in sets. The sermons for the seasons are of course in order. And the last sermon in the volume is the last he ever preached, on the evening of Passion Sunday, A. D. 1859, in Trinity Church, Red Bank; but little more than a fortnight, before he entered upon that eternal life, which is "the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord." It is really just a recreation of a collection of pages from old catalogues. I was hoping for more information & history of some of the Chickering models. This was not worth $18 to me. Would have been helpful if the seller had given examples of some pages.
