    Exact replacement carafe for my unit

    I was very pleased to get this exact replacement at a reasonable price. My wife had cracked the original during cleaning as the glass is not very thick on the original and replacements (both same). Best to use and wash them carefully. These sell for close to $30 with shipping or in stores which is a lot of money since you can find complete coffee machines in other brands for the price of just this carafe. I was happy to find this one for a bit less than same product on line and in stores at higher price.

    Poor quality. A replacement but not from the original manufacturer.

    Poor quality. A piece of the plastic broke and the glass on the bottom of the carafe just cracked which caused it to leak during brewing after only about 2 months of regular use and hand washing. This item was never dropped or banged in any way. This was a replacement for my cuisinart carafe but not from the original manufacturer. It fit in the brewing area but not an exact fit like the original carafe. Disappointed with the quality overall.

    Cuisinart 12 Cup Replacement Glass Carafe Not Quite Perfect

    The only comment I have it that the bottom doesn't quite fit securely enough in the base of the unit (where it is placed when coffee is being brewed)... It rocks a bit rather than sitting flat... I am not sure if it there was a slight flaw during its manufacturer.

    Waste of Money and Patience

    The part by the spout isn’t sealed and leaks horribly every time! It puts me in a bad mood every morning and sets my day off. I’ve tried pouring slowly, making sure the kid is secure, using the lip of the spout- it isn’t sealed around the black band and leaks under the spout all the way down the carafe. Awful. Useless.

    not as good as original

    The carafe does not fit snugly on the burner like the original, the glass is much thinner and the cup markers on the carafe are not accurate. 4 cups in the original carafe come to the 5 cup line in the replacement. I would spend the money on original equipment if I could do it over. You get what you pay for.
