    love everything Floyd. this is a good one as are all his albums. this one is a bit more rocking than his later years when all the songs are kinda slow. good rock album.

    Totally underrated album

    David Gilmour is finally getting some credit for being one of the best rock guitarists around. His debut solo album still doesn't get the attention it deserves. This is really good stuff! Don't buy it if you're looking for another Dark Side of the Moon, though. This album has a flavour all its own. It's a Gilmour solo album. Don't look for the incredible magic that came out of his tumultuous relationship with Roger Waters. It isn't there. What is there is some great guitar playing, just as you should expect.
