    The item had been shipped but there was no tracking on the item. After several days I asked if it had shipped and they said yes and that u should have received it. Unfortunately the item never showed up. I believe this has something to do with USPS. I was given a full refund upon request. That's the kind of customer service I like. No runaround.     The best bike chains ever.

    KMC X type chains are exactly what I want. These chains are tapered on the sides to allow perfect operation with any HG style freewheel & cassette sprockets. They're non-directional. So, just put them on. They have the quick link. They're affordable. Excellent stuff.

    Inferior product, I do not recommend.

    This chain lasted less than 1 month on my commuter bike. I ride less than 5 miles a day to and from the bus various bus stops, work, shopping and home. During this short time it has twisted itself into a spiral. It was replacing a chain that had lasted for more than 3 years of almost daily usage and had just started to measurably stretch. This chain is obviously made of inferior material and would not recommend it to any one. Steer well clear of this product. I wouldn't give it any stars of rating but the review wouldn't let me leave it blank.

    Excellent Chain for Bikes that have 5,6,7,8 Freewheel or Cassette Cogs.

    KMC X8.99 Chain is an Excellent Chain for bikes which do Not require a 10 or 11 Speed Chain or a 1/8 inch chain ( some Fixed / Single Speed bikes ). It is smooth shifting on my Suntour Microdrive 7 speed cassette on my Mtn Bike. Easy to remove extra links and to install with a good chain tool.

    Great look and EASY to install

    I bought this for my mountain bike and it looks great and the quick link is very easy to use! I also bought a Shimano black chain for my wife's mountain bike for a comparison and the quick link was VERY difficult to install compared to the KMC brand. I highly recommend this chain for it's function, look and ease of installation!

    Fabulous Replacement for Stock Chain

    The chain on my new Dahon Mariner 7 had some sort of aluminum-like coating that quckly became unsightly as it began wearing away. I put nickel plated chains on all my new bikes, so finding this new, very affordable source of KMC chains is just what I have been seeking for several years.
