    Six long TV adaptations of plays from long ago produced by the BBC in the '70s and '80s, one of which ends with a mushroom cloud from a nuclear explosion. Not sure if I'm gonna watch them all.

    Generous contents with productions by true Shavians.

    Although the productions are from the 20th century, they are produced with very fine, often famous, actors and directed by those who understand Shaw's approach. The sets are beautifully designed and support the productions. The bonus additions of e.g. other plays, and comments by Shavians and by Shaw himself, not mentioned on the front of the packages, more or less doubles the contents that one expected. Indeed, all are splendid and generous bonuses!

    It's old and the acting is outdated. Yes, it's a play but poorly done. Maggie Smith stumbles over her lines instead of sounding like the real spoilt ding bat she's supposed to be.
