    Ample finalfantasy fan service... But not much more....

    First things first, there is no 3D mode in this game... that being said, that does not take away too much from the experience itself. In its core, this is a monsterhunter dungeon crawler type game... but sadly it's not nearly as satisfying. you start off too over powered in my opinoin, but that is because you never level up, at least not in the conventional sense... you level up your job class... but that makes it so that you are over powered from the begining. this game is a cake walk... but that's the thing it is a walk, a walk down memory lane. this game is not trying to be deep, chalanging or even innovative. it is trying to be what it is a fanservice machine, you can make past final fantasy character's clothes (like sephiroth) and you can even turn into your favorite character ...

    NO LEVELS

    It's a great game with a complex skill system, tons of jobs, BUT THERE ARE NO LEVELS? The last time FFS ****ed up like this was ffs 2 in japan. I don't know why they would do this especially in a online based game but it ruined everything it made the whole game feel pointless and grindy. Only way to get stronger is to mutate your skills and grind like hell to craft armor it's not that fun. You basically just end up spamming skills in the long run making combos and evolving the same combo, you can try to mix it up but you won't want to because you'll basically lose everything you worked on each time kinda ruining the system they tried so hard to build. If you enjoy the grinding and navigating in final fantasy this games perfect for you if not just wait for it to drop in price and see for ...

    Graphics aren't the greatest but its a very fun monster hunter-final fantasy esque game that still has its multplayer function up even in late 2021 :)
