    Hurst has a poor product for the mustang.

    The Hurst shifter is no better if not worse than the stock Ford unit. Assembly is not easy as the bolt holes do not match and I had to re-tap each one to make it fit. Nylon set screws are useless. The shifter has a problem shifting from first, third and fifth. Downshifting from second, fourth and sixth is better. As a loyal customer to Hurst products I am disappointed in this shifter. Bill Herring Hopkins SC
