    Lego to the rescue!

    My 10 yr old nephew loves legos and will spend hours playing with them. He has been particularly enamored if this lego set, and it is a great way to motivate him to complete his online homework -we have gotten through multiplication and are now flying through Equivalent Fractions with much more enthusiasm and an end goal (adults -he is retaining, child -lego pirate ship + two other possibilities!). Thank goodness for differential lego sets!

    Great build, looks awesome

    I have only done 1 of the 3 designs, so this might be premature, but the main ship build is super cool. The build is fun and it didn't feel like LEGO was milking the piece count with excessive unnecessarily small pieces. The ship is great to display, very aesthetically pleasing!

    Satisfied, but had to secure my own pieces to complete the project

    On the whole, I’m satisfied with the item. I purchased it knowing there were substitute pieces in the kit. That did not dissuade me from my purchase. Now that I’ve “completed” the assembly, I find that one important piece that was to support the mast was not a suitable substitute (it had no hole for the mast to be secured. In addition, the kit was missing almost a dozen small pieces needed to finish the project. Luckily, I have a Lego resale shop near me where I was able to purchase the pieces.

    An awesome build that allows customization

    My son bought two of these ships and merged them together into one big ship and it looks amazing. He had so much fun building it. LEGOs are awesome.
