    Unadulterated Edith Wharton.

    This book is an excellent source for aficionados of Edith Wharton, placing her earliest effort (at age 15) next to her final, not-quite-finished novel written in her seventies. It is interesting and noteworthy how eloquent and perceptive she was both in youth and in old age.
