- r***s (165)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseThis looks identical to the original part in my Vitamix 5000. It has 3 solder tabs but only 2 are used. One gets clipped off. I soldered the new part to the original wires and put it all back together. Pretty easy. The blender runs perfectly now, with no more random speeds in variable mode.
