Fender can stop here... This strat is perfect
Not positive why they would even make this, since it is absolutely going to cut into their American market. What Fender tells you: these are HEAVILY upgraded from all MIM strats past. These have the awesome 2-point bridges, upgraded tuners, F stamp back plate, actual high quality wiring and pots, amazing pickups. Two most noticable upgrades for sure are the Alnico 5 pickups and the wiring. These sound easily as good as any single coil could. What Fender DOESN'T tell you: I 100% believe that a lot of the parts are extra from USA models and sent down to Mexico. I am 100% sure that's the case for the bridge, neck plate, and I suspect it's the case for the electronics. In all, this is the one strat you'd need. No need to upgrade pickups. No need to upgrade bridge. It's already perfect.
