There are only two chain checker tools that are accurate on the market. Read all about the inaccuracies of all these tools in the Velonews December 2015 (updated February 2016) article about this issue. I am unable to figure out how to use this, and the Pedro’s web site isn’t of much help. If you already knew how this tool is supposed to work, you might be able to understand the instructions, but since I don’t already understand what is supposedly being measured and how and why, the tool is unusable to me.
