    Filter does not fit a Honeywell filter plenum unless you put foam tape around it to completely seal it up. If you are handy and can add the foam tape, with the cost of the tape these are still considerably cheaper than the actual Honeywell filters. Both are Merv11 so this is why I rated god value and quality...and did not recommend unless you want to add the foam tape. Honeywell filter is 15 7/8 x 24 3/4 x 4 3/8 vs this one

    Misleading

    This filter is NOT a replacement for the Honeywell FC100A1029. These types of filters typically fit into a very specific size housing. The measurements for the filter are critical to a good fit, which will not allow leakage around the filter. Be sure and check the measurements exactly before ordering any replacement filter. In this case, the exact measurements of the Honeywell filter are 15-7/8" X 24-7/8" X 4-3/8". The measurements of this replacement filter are 16'' x 25'' x 3-3/4''. As you can see, one of the measurements is not even close to what it needs to be. You have been warned....

    Good design.

    I only received one filter as that was all that was available and I was informed it had some slight damage. The item was obviously damaged additionally in transit due to the very thin and flexible box it was shipped in. With some effort to try and restore the damaged area of the filter frame it should fit my unit and work ok. Hopefully you will get new inventory of this size in the future, and I would prefer MERV 13

    Less Quality

    a thinner less quality product, I shopped the 5" wide filter, searched that on ebay, this popped up at a good price not knowing they even make a 4" for Honeywell. My bad for getting sucked in. Will try using, because if I send back will cost me a fortune in shipping fees
