The problem was it must have been the end of the bolt of fabric and was really really creased. I tried to iron out the deep creases bur although it was better creases could still be seen. I did try to contact the seller but had difficulty in doing so. Anyway at the end of the day I am in the process of the project with my granddaughters of making bunting and am now happy.

If the colour had been what I needed, I would have bought the amount I need rather than the sample. I misread the sizing of the sample and expected a 10 inch square, in fact it's 10cm so not much use apart from an odd patch in a quilt. Next time I will check the measurement before I hit the buy button.
