    it was a new, sealed item by the manufacturer, sure, so it could have been packaged lightly and it'd have been fine, but this was so well-packaged that it could have been run over by a tank w zero damage, so i didn't think for a moment there would be any shipping issues. the item was new, there were no discrepancies between what the seller marketed and what it was/is in my hands. as for "value," that's a whole other write-up, but i'm very pleased., thank you.
