A fun and challenging Sega Genesis run-and-gun title based off of Tom Mason's comic books!
When it comes to Sega Genesis run-and-gun video games, Gunstar Heroes and Contra: Hard Corps were always my personal favorites. Of course there were plenty of other Sega Genesis run-and-gun titles that are worth trying out. Dinosaurs for Hire is one of them, and of course The Adventures of Batman & Robin. Despite being based of Tom Mason's Dinosaurs for Hire series by Malibu Comics, this game plays like Konami's Contra series, and plays very well and quite solid. However, the difficulty gets steep real quickly, especially in the later levels. The graphics are also great and well detailed, but they don't push the hardware to its limits like Gunstar Heroes, Contra: Hard Corps, and The Adventures of Batman & Robin. The music and sounds are actually pretty good, despite the use of the infamous GEMS sound driver. Even though I wouldn't consider Dinosaurs for Hire a run-and-gun masterpiece on the Sega Genesis, I would still consider this a fairly fun and challenging title for anyone to play.

Short but Sweet!
This is a Contra-Style shoot 'em up arcade hit that graced the Genesis back in the good old days. There's a lot of nostalgia for games like this in my heart, so i might be slightly biased on this one. Pros: great gameplay, adequately challenging, fun boss fights, cool graphics Cons: very short game, no alternate play modes, so not a lot of replay value... Overall, it's a good deal if you pay under 10 bucks for it. Otherwise I would pass on it and stick to Contra: the Alien Wars

Dinosaurs with GUNS!! Great Comic great Game!
I rented this from the grocery store at Puritee when i was a kid, loved it even though i couldnt get passed the first level. well i grew up and was determined to beat it and i did :D . Id recommend this game to anyone with an open mind DINOSAURS WITH GUNS!! Anyone who likes the comic or just to collect for thier retro bin. Its a great game within its own class, sure its no battletoads but it was a great idea non the less. I loved it and im sure you will also!

dinosaurs for hire
I bought this item because when I was a kid my local video rental store had this game. I always wanted to play it but couldn't cause I did not have the right system to do so. I like it cause I could finally play it after all these years. My only dislike is that its a diffacult game. But thats part of the fun I suppose.

The game was a little old and my SEGA Genesis isnt exactly in perfect condition but other than that I am extremely happy with the purchase.
